Hermann Ohlicher: "The 6-3 win against Werder Bremen in March 2008. That was an excitingly, attacking game from both teams. Considering the tension and the atmosphere in the stadium, the match was almost unbeatable."

Hermann Ohlicher: "At the moment I would have to say someone that maybe no one has yet considered - Christian Träsch. He has continually developed throughout this season and he does his job very well both at the back and in the midfield."

Hermann Ohlicher: "In my eyes, Julian Schieber has the potential to make it all the way to the top He possesses a lot of the talent and ability that a good striker needs."

Hermann Ohlicher: "First of all I wish VfB all the success in the world in 2009 and additionally that they can avoid economic problems and enjoy a trouble free stadium reconstruction. Aside from that, I hope that they can win an international place again and that they can continue to integrate young players into the first team."
