It is highly likely that VfB Stuttgart will have to make do without the services of Serdar Tasci for the rest of the first half of the season. A strain reaction in his left foot has forced the defender into taking a longer break from active participation.
Serdar Tasci's injury is the same problem currently plaguing team mate Sami Khedira, who could be looking at a stress fracture if the necessary rest is not taken. Due to the injury, Serdar Tasci has had to pull out of German national team trainer Joachim Löw's squad for the up-coming friendlies against Chile and the Ivory Coast.
