"We must stabilise"

VfB Stuttgart have now gone five games without defeat under the guidance of Christian Gross, most recently scoring all three points with a 1-0 win away to SC Freiburg. "The away win did us good. We must stabilise further now and perform more dominantly from match to match," said the Swiss coach as he prepares his men for the visit of high-flying Borussia Dortmund on Sunday evening. The trainer considers BVB a danger and sees them as favourites to take all three points: "BVB seem to be in good form. It will be a highly interesting match. Our opponents will be looking to extend their winning run, as will we", added Gross.

BVB's search for a European place

Jürgen Klopp's Borussia side have proven particularly potent as they switch from defence to attack, and they now have an eye on sealing one of the European qualifying places: "For us the focus is still on survival in the top flight. We need to do everything possible to keep the fans behind us. That's something that worked very well in Freiburg," explained Gross. Jens Lehmann will be back between the posts for the game against BVB having sat out his three match ban. Christian Gross is expecting "presence, full concentration, a reliable last man and the ultimate will to keep a clean sheet" from his experienced keeper.
